Welcome to First Step College Prep, an independent educational consultant that specializes in college admissions and readiness services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our website or engaging our services.

1. Services

First Step College Prep provides personalized college admissions and readiness services to students and families. Our services may include but are not limited to:

• Assessment of student’s academic standing and potential
• College search and selection
• Application and essay guidance
• Standardized test preparation
• Interview coaching
• Financial aid and scholarship guidance
• Resume and extracurricular activity evaluation
• College transition and readiness counseling

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete information to First Step College Prep. Clients are also responsible for submitting their own applications and meeting all application deadlines. Clients are responsible for their own academic performance and the ultimate decision to accept an offer of admission from any college or university.

3. Payment and Refund Policy

Payment for services is due at the time of enrollment. First Step College Prep does not guarantee admission to any college or university, and therefore does not offer refunds for services rendered.

4. Confidentiality

First Step College Prep respects the privacy of our clients and their families. We will not share any confidential information without the client’s explicit consent. However, we may use de-identified information for research purposes.

5. Limitation of Liability

First Step College Prep is not responsible for any consequences that arise from the use of our services, including but not limited to admissions decisions, financial aid awards, or scholarship offers. We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials and content provided by First Step College Prep are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced or distributed without our permission.

7. Termination of Services

First Step College Prep reserves the right to terminate services for any client at any time, for any reason. Clients who violate these terms and conditions may have their services terminated immediately, without refund.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

First Step College Prep reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. Clients are responsible for reviewing these terms and conditions regularly to ensure compliance with the most current version.
